FIGHTING FOR OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE

WE ARE THE SOLUTION

The Black Mothers March on the White House is a coalition of black-led organizations that have been involved in the struggle to rescue our children from the custody of the State. We exist to expose the systematic attack on black women and the black family by the U.S. government. The U.S. Government has been able to perpetuate this terror on our communities under the guise of “protecting children” using the Department of Human Services, euphemistically referred to as Child Protective Services.

This Black Mothers March, individuals and families will come together to share stories of mistreatment and discrimination at the hands of the Family Policing System. Each individual's story will paint a clear picture of the larger narrative: That the U.S. Child ``Protection” system is the modern-day auction block and its intended purpose is to continue to control and sell Black bodies.

The People’s Tribunal is a place for collective healing as we push Forward to Freedom and demand systematic change.

Following the People Tribunal, in collaboration with Harrietts Wildest Dreams and Life After Release, we will host an unforgettable day of fun, music, and celebration. This event is all about embracing freedom and enjoying the great outdoors. We will have a local DC DJ, indulge in delicious food, and participate in exciting activities for all ages. We will have kids activities, yoga, culture and the community will have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers to help deepen the resistance to the Family Policing System. Filled with nothing but a good time, this event has something for everyone.
